We need to be careful about the assumptions derived from genome data in regards to taxonomic diversity. While there is an exponential increase of genomic information, the analysis of complex microbiome data is a limiting factor. MF-technology: allows the characterization of known and unknown organisms. RIGEL-mtp: is a MF-based architecture for the analysis of massive scale metagenomic data for microbial characterization.
