摘要

This panel of biomarker proteins including SAA, MMP9, FLT3L, Fibrinogen and novel radiation responsive protein Pentraxin 3, demonstrate dose dependent elevation of expression following ionizing radiation exposure. Elevation of FL following a single TBI fraction of 2Gy is seen in clinical samples w/concurrent chemotherapeutic regimen. With further development, these novel proteins have potential use as a diagnostic tool in the medical management of unknown radiation exposures.
