Justification of the sources of forming competitive advantages of underground construction companies under the production concentration conditions

Under the conditions of economic and political instability characterized by the strengthening of production and resource concentration on the verge of the monopolization of the separate segments of the construction sector, the primary task of a construction company is to provide stable and innovative competitive advantages. The authors present the assessment methodology for the competitiveness of underground construction companies and justify the competitive advantages of production and capital concentration by means of a superadditive effect. However, capital concentration poses a threat of corporate raiding. This research reveals the key features and motives of corporate raiding. Moreover, the authors give recommendations on the prevention of possible company takeovers perpetrated by raiders and development of fair competition in the underground construction.
