This paper presents a slitted multiband monopole antenna for GPS, WiMAX, WLAN and Satellite application. It resonates at various frequencies 1.55GHz, 3.23GHz, 3.89GHz, 6.03GHz and 8.05GHz. The bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 68.4 MHz, 111.4 MHz and4957 MHz which is suitable for GPS, WiMAX. WLAN, Satellite application. The proposed antenna have three slits. Two slits at one side of the edge for multiband application and other one at opposite side of the edge which is used to improve the return loss. The return loss of antenna is greater than -10 dB at all resonating frequencies and the overall antenna gain variation is 1 to 5 dB for resonating frequency bands. The microstrip line feeding is used. The proposed antenna is constructed using FR-4 (lossy) substrate and permittivity is 4.4. The design antenna is simple and low cost for all applications. The antenna is designed using CST 2011 software.
