摘要

The aim of this work was to assess the optimal conditions for PdNi5 wire processing parameters, based on the factorial design applied to the experimentally obtained data. Six important factors of thermo-mechanical treatment with three factor level were used as the input variables and experimentally obtained elongation of PdNiS wire with different final diameters (0.15; 0.111 and 0.08 mm) that was taken as the output variable. The optimum operating parameters were predicted using the RSM method and confirmed through the experiment. It was found that the final wire diameter and temperature of recrystallization annealing had the strongest effect on the elongation of PdNiS wire in order to make Pd catalysts-catchers.
