UL 62368 is an information technology equipment (ITE) standard that will eventually replace UL 60950 and UL 60650. In UL 62638, various clauses reference the IEC 60332-1 and 60332-2 small scale flame tests for wiring. Appliance Wiring Material (AWM) is typically used as the wiring for products covered by UL 62638. However, UL 758 does not contain the option to perform the IEC 60332-1 and -2 tests on AWM. A proposal has been made to provide the option. Comments were due 9/23/2013.
