Slurries based on fused silica flour were mixed and loaded to different flour concentrations. The slurries were formulated with a flour loading ranging from 62% to 70%. The flours used were in three variations: RP1, RP2, and a 50/50 mix of RP1 and RP2. They were subsequently coated with either a fine or coarse stucco. Strength and load resistance characteristics were measured. The main general trend is that an increase in flour loading increases MOR. However, as the flour loading increased, the slurries became more difficult to use.
