In previous papers we have shown the applicability of digital pulse shape acquisition to the large area telescopes of the 4π-multidetector CHIMERA. In view of measuring with this technique the time of flight of the reaction products to obtain also mass identification, we have performed several tests in laboratory, using pulse and waveform generators, and preliminary measurements with a 20{sup left}Ne beam at 20.5 MeV/u, at different sampling frequencies. In this contribution we present the preliminary results obtained.
