摘要

Affinity beads approach is one of the most facile and practical procedure to enrich the target protein from mixture of various biomolecules. However lectin enrichment by glycobeads has been often hampered by their weak affinity. Namely the conventional washing step, in which the solution phase is replaced, should remove weak binding lectins. In this work, we propose a novel lectin-enrichment procedure which encloses lectin-glycobead complex in a liposome in order to protect lectin weakly binding with glycobeads from the washing steps.
