Environmental Quality in the City and Its Impact on Residential Housing Prices. An Example from the Czech Republic

In a process of forming property prices a wide range of determinants plays a significant role, also in the Czech Republic. The environmental quality is often mentioned as one of the significant determinant. The paper examines the impact of environmental quality and tries to find the relevant environmental indicator e.g. air pollution or index of environmental stability which is correlated with average market flats and plots prices at the level of cities and towns in the Czech Republic. The set of 70 cities and towns was examined. This has been done in order to find out measure of independence.
