A poly-Si TFT-LCD panel for VGA/NTSC applications with aperture ratio of 71% has been developed by implementing storage capacitor under the data line without crosstalk, when polycide acts as a shielding layer between storage capacitor and data line. In addtion, the proposed level shifter, which has high immunity to threshold voltage variations, allows the driver circuits to operate properly at 6.14MHz for moving pictures even though the threshold voltages are higher than 6V.
