Weakly nonlinear analysis of the corticothalamic model for understanding epilepsy

A semi-analytical method for seizure occurring prediction when epileptic region and non-epileptic region coexist in the cortex based on the corticothalamic model is presented using techniques including discretization, reduction theory for delay differential equations, and Fourier transformation of the model parameter distribution with numerical confirmation.
