Single crystals Of GZS:VO~(2+) were grown by slow evaporation of solvent at room temperature. The EPR study was carried out at room temperature. Single crystal rotations in each of the three mutually orthogonal planes indicate single site occupation of VO~(2+) in the lattice. g and A tensors were calculated from the recorded EPR spectra. The principal values of g and A indicates existence of rhombic symmetry around the VO~(2+) ion. From the direction cosines of the g and A tensors, the locations of VO~(2+) in the lattice have been identified as substitutional site.
