A simple and novel method for developing BiFeO_3 (BFO) nanostructures like nanorods, nanowire etc. is presented. It involves chemical route employing Anodised Alumina (AAO) template with narrow pore sizes followed by controlled vacuum filtration and ion milling to remove the agglomerates. Various parameters controlling the growth, shape, size etc. of the nanostructures have been analyzed.
