A Prototyping Tool for Developing ICT Based Course Material for Children with Developmental Disability

Education programs for children with developmental disabilities have attempted to include information and communication technology (ICT) teaching materials. Thus, the Chofu Special Needs School and the University of Electro-Communications collaborated to develop teaching materials suitable for each child with developmental disabilities. Obtaining the requirements for ICT-based materials is difficult because teachers often have problems communicating with students regarding software specifications. In this study, we propose a tool for developing ICT-based course material for children with developmental disabilities and describe the results of the evaluation of the proposed tool.
