摘要

This study examined the feasibility of using reclaimedwastewater as irrigation water for the cultivation ofcarnation plants. The effect of three different qualities oftreated wastewater on the growth of this importantornamental plant was investigated in comparison with tapwater and tap water enriched with fertiliser. Growthcharacteristics in plants irrigated with reclaimedwastewaters were equal or higher than those of plantsirrigated with tap water. Nitrogen and phosphorus contentin leaves increased for plants irrigated with primary, secondary and tertiary treated wastewater in comparisonwith plants irrigated with tap water while Ca and Mgaccumulation in leaves showed no significant difference.Micronutrient (Cu, Fe, Zn) content in leaves increased inplants irrigated with primary and secondary treatedwastewaters. Maximum efficiency of PSII (Fv/Fm) andleaf SPAD measurements indicates the absence of photoinhibitionand of chlorophyll loss in plants irrigated withreclaimed wastewaters.
