Effectiveness and Safety of Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection with Hook Knife

EMR was a useful method for the treatment of the superficial gastric cancers but the resected size was too small, so en bloc resection rate was low. The local recurrent rate of these piecemeal resected cases was higher than that of enbloc resected cases. Therefore, we developed endoscopic submucosal dissection with hook knife.
