Synthesis and Conformational Analysis of Homo-oligopeptides of α,α-Dicyclopropylglycine

Homo-oligopeptides (Z-(Dcp)_n-OMe: n=2-5) of α,α-di-cyclopropylglyeine (Dcp) were synthesized. NMR and X-ray structural analyses on these peptides revealed that the tetra-and pentapeptides adopt 3_(10)-helices stabilized by two and three intramolecular hydrogen bonds, respectively, both in the solution and in crystals.
