AN LC-MS/MS METHOD FOR QUANTIFICATION OF DEBRISOQUINE AND OH-DEBRISOQUINE IN DRIED BLOOD SPOTS

Both Debrisoquine and OH-Debrisoquine were successfully qualified over the dynamic range of 0.488 - 500 ng/mL. The resulting method was successfully utilized to support a serial mouse PK study with 9 timepoints from each mouse. Serial sampling resulted in a significant reduction in the number of animals used in the study. Furthermore, serial sampling provided higher quality data than a cohort study design as it eliminated the animal to animal variability between timepoints. In the future on card stability and other ancillary studies will be completed in order to fully validate this method.
