Method Scalability for Drugs of Abuse Extraction from Urine using Supported Liquid Extraction prior to UPLC-MS/MS Analysis

This poster demonstrates the suitability of ISOLUTE SLE+ for the rapid and reliable extraction of multiple drugs of abuse and metabolites from urine. Excellent recoveries were demonstrated from 1-500 ng/mL levels showing good calibration curves for all analytes. LOQs were mid to low pg/mL level based on S/N estimations. The use of 2 mM UPLC mobile phases without pH control allowed improved retention of polar opiates demonstrating better peak shape and allowing the use of more organic solvent in the reconstitution solvent.
