PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a user and to easily grasp information in a computer system dealing with mass document data. SOLUTION: A document analysis supporting program 1 realizes a summary extracting function 3 extracting a prescribed summary element included in document data, to a computer in order to support the analysis of data, extracting summary information on document data based on the extracted result and associating document data with summary information, an operation receiving function 4 receiving the operation of a user and a picture generating function 5 obtaining document data associated with summary information designated in the operation receiving function 4 and generating picture data obtained by combining obtained document data and summary information extracted from the document data in a computer for supporting the analysis of document data based on the result associated with the summary extracting function 3.
