Anumber of significant protein expression changes were found between the cell lines, including proteins related to cancer pathways which can complement previous genetic and cytogenetic studies. Only 40 % of the proteins were quantified in all five cell lines. By combining five cell lines as internal standard we cover the AML proteome to a larger extend than by using only one, which is an advantage if using super-SILAC mix for comparison of patient samples.
