摘要

In this study, we demonstrated the effectiveness of combination of thermal desorption and electrospray ionization (TD-ESI) for a wide range of applications. Since the total analytical time of this approach for one sample is only a few seconds, it provides the capacity of screening a large number of the samples for rapid, real-time, in-suit and as well as high-throughput analysis. The technique with features of ambient ionization mass spectrometry shows the capability for a wide range of applications, in particular, environmental monitoring, food safety, drug abuse and homeland security.
