1. The presented method is a universal and gentle technique of studying protein adsorption on limited and delicate surfaces. 2. Detection limits are mainly governed by the choice of mass spectrometer. 3. Surface modification decreases protein adsorbtion by 33%. 4. Hemoglobins and clusterin are the most abundant proteins adsorbed to the membrane. 5. Albumin, the most abundant protein in vCSF, was not found adsorbed to the membrane.
