1. Protein pattern in EMBs reflects alterations associated with DCM in comparison to controls with normal cardiovascular function. 2. Hemodynamic parameters correlate with the level of myocardial proteins of the electron transport chain and involved in ATP synthesis a correlation between a diminished LVEF and lower mitochondrial energy supply can be assumed. 3. Myocardial extracellular matrix composition and adiponectin levels at baseline seem to be indicative for IA/IgG outcome. 4. Subgroups of patients (R, NR) differ also in their plasma proteome. 5. The differentiating signature comprises a number of immunoglobulin indicating the importance of total plasma protein profiling for autoimmune diseases.
