摘要

The IM-MS distribution profiles of beta-carotene and alpha-carotene were very similar. This is not surprising since these two carotenes differ only in the position of one double bond. More isomeric species were formed and observed in the MALDI IM-MS spectra than in the electrospray IM-MS spectra on the Synapt HDMS, that may be due to the more homogenous and softer nature of electrospray ionization process.
