'Ortho Effects' in the Mass Spectra of Derivatives of hydroxy-, mercapto and aminobenzenecarboxylic acids

摘要

1. Characteristic ions are identified for differentiation of derivitized anthranilic, salicilyc and thiosalicylic acids from their positional isomers; mechanisms for the formation of these ions are suggested. 2. "Sulfur effect" is detected in case of di(trimethylsilyl) derivatives of salicylic and thiosalicylic acids.
