Direct Analysis of Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products from Solid-Phase Microextraction Fibers with Desorption Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectrometry

摘要

Coupling DESI-MS with SPME is effective at detecting PPCP's at low ppt concentrations. Quantitative assessment is possible even in authentic drinking water. Linear dynamic range of >= 2.5 orders of magnitude for all target analytes with decent linearity. Reproducibility is challenging, but attainable, due to the numerous variables inherit to the experimental setup.
