摘要

Our integrated proteomic and transcriptomic analyses provide a detailed understanding of the wide-spread PN changes during HD progression in R6/2 mice. We identified changes in the pathways involved in protein synthesis, folding, trafficking, and degradation at both transcriptional and protein levels. Furthermore, a number of PN proteins exhibit differential expression only at the proteomic level. These differentially expressed genes and proteins identify PN pathways for further mechanistic studies, and putative targets for therapeutics development.
