摘要

These data represent the first application of LOPIT to a mammalian model organism, and to an adherent cell line. The additional multiplexing capacity of the 8-plex iTRAQ reagents allows for better characterization of the fractionated sample, revealing subtle details which are not seen with 4-plex. Application of LOPIT to cell culture provides a suitably controlled platform for the study of protein localization dynamics in response to stimuli or perturbation.
