摘要

An analytical method to simultaneously determine AUY922 and its glucuronide conjugate metabolite BJP762 in human blood was developed and validated in support of the on going phase I studies. Instability of an analyte and its (glucuronide) metabolite(s) in the presence of light are not uncommon. The experiences of a photo-instability of analytes gained during this method development and application will provide a solid foundation for future methods development where analyte instability in the presence of light is observed. A high throughput method was enabling the rapid completion of sample analysis to facilitate decision making during the dose escalation stage of a study.
