摘要

The oxidatively truncated gamma-hydroxy-alpha,beta-unsaturated aldehydic esters of phosphatidylcholines (PCs), HOHA-PC and HOOA-PC, undergo spontaneous nonenzymatic deacylation that produces biologically active 2-lyso-PC. New therapeutic measures will be needed to prevent the pathological consequences caused by lyso-PC that is generated nonenzymatically in vivo.
