摘要

The relatively high intensity of the peak at m/z 95 formed from 8 methyl-4-nonanone is likely the result of the formation of a more stable intermediate ionic structure as well as the more stable product ion after water loss. The results can be used to explain the spectra of a series of similar compounds. Several of the compounds in Figure 2 that were not commercially available have now been synthesized and this study is continuing.
