摘要

Both capillary skimmer potential difference and ORI-CID are important processes to study the stability and the fragmentation of surfactant-M(II) complexes. High capillary skimmer potential differences (approx300 V) are useful to eliminate any unwanted clusters in order to produce one type of ion for binding selectivity. It is useful as well at the first stage of dissociation because it generates product ions from the surfactant backbone as well as product ions from the end group moieties.
