Automation of Integrated LC-MS/MS Peak Quality Assurance and Analytical Run Quality Control

Take Home Message: For the Pgp Transporter assay we adopted the philosophy of reviewing only those 5-10percent of the samples in a data set that needed manual attention; This was done by using the two automated process queries in MultiQuant to identify the 90-95percent of the samples that passed quality and acceptance criteria and therefore did not need any manual review; By taking this approach we were able to cut down on the number of data points that were being manually reviewed and eliminate the data review step as the bottleneck in the Pgp Transporter assay; Overall: Data for 90 compounds was reported per week, with a weekly data review time savings of 5-6 hours.
