Osteosarcoma (OSA) is one of the most common cancers treated routinely by veterinary oncologists. Despite this, there is no consensus as to which adjuvant chemotherapy protocol provides optimal long-term tumor control. Comparisons between protocols using historical controls are inherently flawed. Thus, the purpose of this study was to prospectively compare two published protocols for the adjuvant treatment of dogs with appendicular OSA.
