摘要

New inorganic dual-phase membranes are developed for high temperature CO2 separation. The membranes consist of selected binary or ternary metal-carbonates with Li+, Na+ and K+ cations embedded in a ceramic matrix of CeO2 or Sm-doped CeO2. Materials possessing a high oxide ion conductivity at the targeted operation temperature have been applied as it has been shown that this may be the limiting factor dominating the flux of CO2.
