NOVEL BULK FABRICATION TECHNIQUE USING BA-CU-0 SUBSTRATE

摘要

We have proposed the novel bulk fabrication technique using a Ba-Cu-O substrate. It could drastically suppress liquid loss, large-sized crack initiation and a reaction with the substrate at a bulk bottom although it was a very simple technique. This led to the fabrication of good quality bulks, which had the large and homogeneous field trapping capabilities with scarcely any weak link defects.
