Meditating upon the fundamental question asked by Professor Antonino Zichichi "Why science is needed for the culture of the third millennium?" reminded me of the event at the international physics conference, when the speaker started his talk by the phrase: "Prophet Moses was wandering for forty years with the Jewish tribes in the desert looking for the land without oil and gas". Why? Let us try to answer this question. The answer differs from a widely accented one.
