The first cases of PMWS from Croatia were recorded in the year 2002 (1). During last 5 years PMWS has affected most of swine herds in continental part of Croatia. Among many different pathoanatomical findings in PMWS diseased pigs, renal lesions usually called "white-spotted" kidneys, associated with interstitial nephritis were not very frequent findings (2). Nevertheless, in the last few years several articles informed about interstitial nephritis founded in high percentage of PMWS affected pigs (3,4). The objective of this work was to describe the field case of PMWS on swine farm, without previous history of the disease, where the most striking necropsy findings were renal lesions.
