Construction and tests of solar stoves for the devoid communities of the Great River of North-Brazil(Abstract)

摘要

The Laboratory of Solar Energy (LSE) of the Federal University of the Great River of North (UFRN) constructed a model of a solar stove and tested its viability, considering modelling foods submitted when baking in the solar oven. The main characteristics were to be ease of manufacture and assembly, low cost (using accessible materials for low income communities) and simplicity in the mechanism of movement for incidence of the direct solar light.
