Class C fly ash is normally produced from burning bituminous or lignite coal. This type of fly ash is usually recycled as an engineering material to take advantage of its pozzolanic properties. In this study, zero %, 10%, 20%, 50%, %100 (%wt) of different clays were replaced with fly ash. Different clay samples were prepared from mixture of fly ash with clay at optimum water contents. Physical properties of all samples were determined as a function of the fly ash content. Unconfined compressive strength parameters were found after 1,7,28 and 90 days. The results indicated that, inclusion of fly ash improved the properties of clays
