PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure correctly by obtaining a fineness from a measured the quantity of light reflected by crude ash based on a preliminary formed working curve in which the quantity of light reflected by the crude ash and a fineness of a refined ash are made to correspond to each other. ;SOLUTION: A classified fly ash-producing apparatus has a probe 15 for measuring a quantity of reflected light of a material ash, a classifier 7, a sampling device 9, a probe 11 for measuring the quantity of light reflected by crude ash, a computer 13, etc. Output signals of amplifiers 6, 12 which amplify and transmit outputs from probes 5, 11 are input to the computer 13, whereby the computer 13 obtains the fineness of a refined ash and rotates the classifier 7 and adjusts a wind amount of a bag filter on the basis of the fineness. A working curve used for obtaining the fineness of the classified fly ash is obtained by the use of a predetermined formula from an output voltage based on quantities of light reflected by the material ash and crude ash and particle size of the classified fly ash.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
