PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a classification device and a classification method which classifies fly ash highly accurately.;SOLUTION: A fly ash classification device includes a classifier 2 which classifies fly ash, an introduction part which introduces fly ash to the classifier 2, a lead-out part which leads light fly ash out of the classifier 2 and a discharge part 5 which discharges heavy fly ash from the classifier 2. Therein, an introduction side connection hole 6 which is provided on a connection part of the classifier 2 and the introduction part and a lead-out side connection hole 7 which is provided on a connection part of the classifier 2 and the lead-out part are provided on the upper side than a discharge side connection hole 19 provided on the connection part of the classifier 2 and the discharge part 5, a disintegrated body made by causing fly ash introduced from the introduction side connection hole 6 to collide and rebound is provided on a position against which fly ash introduced from the introduction side connection hole 6 in the classifier 2 collides, and a discharge side space which causes heavy fly ash to exist on a lower position of the disintegrated body and a flow side space which causes light fly ash to flow to the lead-out part on the other position of the disintegrated body are provided in the classifier 2.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
