Literature Review: The Historical Progress, Current Status, and Implementation of Advanced Distributed Learning in the U. S. Military,Industry, and Academia

摘要

The purpose of this literature review was to (1) depict the historical development and current status of Advanced Distribute Learning (ADL) in the U. S. military,industry, and academia and (2) propose a road map to help organizations successfully implement ADL. Based on the review of 151 studies in the areas of ADL, on demand learning, just-in-time learning, and mobile learning, recommendations and suggestions for future ADL studies are also discussed.
