摘要

High temperature titanium alloy matrices reinforced with continuous SiC fibers show very high tensile strength and fatigue resistance which are retained at high temperatures. Results of isothermal and thermo-mechanical fatigue tests on Ti-6242/SCS-6 are presented. The mechanical data were determined to identify the material parameters of a viscoplastic material model, which will be used to simulate the behavior of the composite.
