摘要

The advanced design of high lift devices has great impact on the improvement in take-off and landing performance of an aircraft, weight reduction and fuel consumption, shortening of a design manufacture period, and reduction of a maintenance cost. However, the flow field around high lift devices contains complicated flow phenomena, so the higher reliability of the performance prediction for advanced aerodynamic design is required. In this study, stereoscopic PIV technique for acquiring three-component velocity data is applied to a flow around a three-dimensional wing-flap configuration hi a low-speed large-scale wind tunnel to demonstrate the applicability and the capability of the stereoscopic PIV to the high-lift system flowfields.
