Li~+ insertion/extraction into transition metal phosphates, besides providing a fascinating tool for crystal solid state electrochemistry has shown in recent years that new promising materials for real applications could still be discovered/proposed. Using syntheses techniques so as to obtain very small particles is the key for overcoming their poor intrinsic conductivity.
