The paper presents the employee performance appraisal methodology developed in connection to a strategic attempt to foster human resource responsibility and performance based on the stakeholder model. Specific performance standards and performance appraisal methods were formulated. Both quantitative (results based performance indicators) and qualitative measures were used for the essential functions of a real job, presented as part of a more extended case study.
