Analysis of Transient Short Circuit Electromagnetic Forces in Isolated Phase Buses

摘要

Electromagnetic forces in isolated phase buses under short circuit condition are analyzed in this paper. These forces are calculated using time stepping finite element method. The effects of system dimensions and material properties on the forces are investigated via excessive simulation.
